A local TV newsman reports on businesses in Sunnyvale.

Plot Synopsis[]

Teaser[]

Ricky complains that the park has changed, talks about his new business and the fact that Cory and Trevor are too interested in their store. Cory and Trevor place a call to Channel 10 in order to get on a special business report and gain free advertising for their store.

Act One[]

Bubbles makes the same call a moment later in relation to the Kittyland Love Center. He talks to reporter Steve Rogers who says he can do Kittyland as well as the convenience store at 6:00 pm. Surveying his lot, Bubbles sees Ricky has filled the area with used furniture, broken appliances and other things he has collected for his own business venture, Garbageland. He wants a spot on the news program also and Bubbles has no choice but to agree.

Julian admits that he is using stolen building materials for his real estate venture. Cory has been working with him. Jim Lahey continues pretending to be drunk; today he is taking secret hidden camera surveillance of Julian and Cory at his lot while borrowing some nails. Julian buys the act and complains that Lahey keeps hitting on him.

Randy gets a call from Steve Rogers and thinks it's Ricky playing a trick. He is called out by Barb to act as liaison to the crew while they broadcast. Randy worries that Ricky will find a way to ruin a good opportunity to advertise the park.

Act Two[]

Ricky and Bubbles collect all of Ray's pissjugs before the broadcast. Lahey drives up 'drunk' with some donations for Ricky's Garbageland and Ricky also totally believes his act.

Channel 10 begins its broadcast and heads over to Cory and Trevor's store. Lahey drives by acting drunk and Randy goes after him to stop him messing up the shots. He catches up to him at his trailer, and they face off. Randy sends him out to collect pissjugs and then hide himself away for the broadcast because he's an embarassment.

Bubbles has misgivings about appearing on TV with Garbageland and wants to go solo. He makes Ricky promise to behave himself. Lahey dumps pissjugs at the dump and runs into Ray. They have an awkward few moments, and Lahey tells him about the upcoming broadcast. Ray makes Lahey promise not to tell anyone he is living there.

Ricky and Bubbles tune into Cory and Trevor's interview on the news, and the boys plug their best selling products: single cigarettes and bootleg DVD movies. Steve calls them on the illegality of those products and Sarah comes on and retracts the statement. Steve apologizes to his viewers and asks Randy for an explanation. Randy fights with Cory and Trevor on live TV, and they cut for a break.

Act Three[]

Rodgers arrives at Garbageland and Kittyland and introduces himself to Ricky and Bubbles. Ricky takes the first interview and swears while showing off his garbage. They all get stung by a swarm of bees and Bubbles hands out salve. Bubbles takes over and tries to talk about Kittyland, but Ricky interrupts often. 'Drunken' Lahey shows up with an armload of pissjugs and gets into the shot. Ricky yells at him and Jim tells the viewing audience that Ray is living in the dump. Jim and Ricky wrestle while the cameras roll. Bubbles grabs the camera and tries to explain that this isn't what Kittyland is really about, but he doesn't have high hopes he will get any customers after this fiasco.
