We find Bubbles, Randy and Mr. Lahey trying to extract one of Bubbles' kitties from a well where it is trapped. When Barb comes around, Bubbles tells her it's Randy's fault for leaving the lid off all weekend, and Randy and Jim get chewed out by her. Randy beaks off to her and gets suspended as Weekend Trailer Park Supervisor for three weeks.gjtjjt
Act One Edit
Ricky is now broke and tries to borrow money from Julian but he says that all the rest of his money is tied up at the moment but offers to hire Ricky to work for him. The current operation involves J-Roc who is bringing in a boatload of bootleg vodka that they plan to sell around the park. Julian is financing the buy. Ricky has misgivings and instead decides to go apply for Randy's old job -- Bubbles has also applied. Randy tries to get Ricky out of the trailer, thinking he is just playing games, but Lahey takes him seriously, and tells him to show up the next morning for the aptitude test. After Ricky leaves, Randy protests, but Lahey tells him 'it could be fun'.
The next day, at the local bank, Julian withdraws the $10K from his account, while the candidates for the job, Bubbles, Cory, Trevor, Ricky and Jacob write a written exam. The next test is trash collection measured by weight, and Ricky wins this by collecting a discarded muffler, and Lahey is surprised. Following that, Lahey gives each candidate five minutes to fix a lawnmower with an undisclosed problem.
Julian tests the vodka at the local docks, and they do the deal. Julian brings the vodka back to the park and tells J-Roc that if Lahey finds out about the operation, it's going to be all on him. Meanwhile, Cory and Trevor leave the testing, leaving Ricky to win this event also; Jim is starting to get worried.
Barb arrives on the testing ground while Jim tallies the points. He is mortified to learn that Ricky has won the job, and Barb officially announces he has the job. Bubbles pouts and blames his bad eyes prevented him from doing better in life. Ricky and Lahey grudgingly shake hands and part company until the following morning. Randy looks on jealously.
Act Two Edit
Lahey finds Ricky sleeping in, and wakes him up. He also gives him the official supervisor uniform and tells his that he will be on a three strike system after which he will be fired. He's already used up one strike for being late on his first day. Julian starts delivering and selling the vodka.
While driving around the park, Ricky earns his second strike by smoking while not on a break. He then gives Ricky 15 minutes to clean up some trash and dog-do in an area in the park. Randy goes for a trim at Sarah and Lucy's salon, and find out that he gets a free 40 of vodka with his deal, and suspects that Julian is behind it somehow.
Lahey tells Ricky him to go down to the lake and remove all the discarded bicycles that have ended up there over the years. Julian loads up Trevor and Cory with vodka and sends them out to sell it He tells them to report to J-Roc, as he wants his name out of it from now on. At the lake, Lahey and Ricky find Bubbles swimming fully clothed in the water, hauling shopping carts out. Lahey orders him out, and Ricky gets to work.
Later on, Lahey calls Ricky over to view Trevor and Cory bootlegging, and tells him to handle the arrest. Ricky apprehends the boys and they say that they are doing it on their own. Ricky pours out their vodka. Ricky lets the two boys go so they can lead him to who is really behind it. Lahey agrees and sends Ricky out to give Bubbles a ticket for driving his go-cart around the park.
Ricky does so, and Bubbles is understandably pissed, since Ricky was the one who bought it for him. Back with Lahey, Ricky's loyalties are tested as Jim gives Ricky Randy's walkie talkie and asks him to go up to Julian's and tells him to find out if they are bootlegging. Ricky confronts Julian and Bubbles, and Julian admits his guilt.. Julian leaves and tells Ricky he is losing it and leaves. Randy finds Mr. Lahey hiding in the bushes watching the scene, and tells him he has something important to tell him. Before that happens, he gets upset that Ricky is using his birthday walkie, and leaves to spy on Ricky in his new position.
A few minutes later, Jim notices that Ricky has been exposed to poison ivy, and tells him to take the shirt off. Inside Julian's trailer, where he is telling Randy that he is not, in fact, bootlegging, Bubbles sees Jim taking Ricky's shirt off and calls them over to watch. Randy is clearly upset by what he sees, and leaves.
Act Three Edit
Julian decides to empty all the vodka bottles into a plastic pool and pretend it's water just in case the police are brought in. Randy chases Jim and Ricky in the car to tell him that Julian is bootlegging, and that he has seen everything. Ricky says`it`s probably Cory and Trevor. Randy accuses Ricky of lying and they get into a fight. Jim calls in Officer George Green.
The cops descend upon Julian and his team. However, the police cannot find any evidence of bootlegging or even any vodka on the premises. Jim tells Officer George Green that Julian was probably tipped off and poured it down the drain. George isn't buying it and leaves. Jim fires Ricky for he believes that Ricky lied to him about what he knows. Ricky tosses his walkie into the pool. Randy attacks Ricky and they both wrestle in the pool full of booze, spilling it everywhere.
Later, they squeeze the booze out of their clothes, and Bubbles comes up with an idea. They aren't getting anywhere with the big operations, and suggest they instead try a series of smaller, low key crimes, but just do more of them; then they do not risk going to jail when things fuck up. They all agree that this is a good idea.

Thanks largely to Ricky, the boys once again are completely broke (save for Bubbles, who's money is otherwise spent on taking care of the cats)

NOTE: This one is also a Rickyism -- Lahey's original quote is supposed to be tempus fugit, which is latin for 'time flees'. But they both get it wrong. Lahey also quotes a Thomas Gray poem, "Ode on a Distant Prospect of Eton College".
